We are not a rental company, an agency, a broker, or an insurer, and we are never a party to any agreement made between members.

No responsibility for what's listed

At no time does Prop Scout take responsibility for any item, location, animal, or vehicle listed on this site. We do not inspect, verify, or endorse listings, and we make no guarantees about their accuracy, condition, safety, availability, legality, or suitability for any purpose. Photos and descriptions are provided entirely by the members who post them.

Legalities are between members

All legal and practical arrangements must be sorted out directly between the members involved. That includes — without limitation — contracts and rental agreements, payment terms, insurance and liability coverage, filming permits and location releases, animal-welfare compliance and permits, vehicle licensing, damage deposits, and dispute resolution. Prop Scout does not mediate disputes and accepts no liability for any loss, damage, injury, or claim arising from contact or transactions between members.

Use at your own judgment

Do your own due diligence before any shoot: meet the other party, inspect what you're renting, put your agreement in writing, and get appropriate insurance. Nothing on this site is legal advice — when in doubt, consult a professional.
